This work was committed to working on the wineries LEED Gold certification. It was the first winery in NYS to attain this level of certification, reflecting a strong commitment to sustainable building practices. The owners wanted to use their local sourced boulders and combine my recycled steel studio practices for the design. All steel and stainless steel was sourced less than 10 miles from the facility and the 8' wingspan red tailed hawk was fabricated from a broken stainless steel wine tank. The tree elements stand over 20' tall and were fabricated from local well drilling scraps.
